This week at Lake International was short but exciting! We had no school Monday, but we packed a lot in to a short week. Students read further on the topic of bullying, and reacted in their journals. We learned about the power that a bystander can have when they step in and defend a target.
Students very much enjoyed interviewing each other in mentor/mentee pairs, and using Google slides to present their partner to the class. In other exciting news, Period 2 won a class party for their high grades in respect, participation, and high quality work! They chose hot cheeto skeletons for their treat. Several other classes are only a couple of points away… keep up the great work!
